Medical exams

Post by Andr3w »

Hey there i have my RAF medical on friday and was wondering what medical exams for the military are like and what does it involve?
I was just thinking then i have read anything about it so thought i would as you guys.

Also another concern of mine is my weight, im 6 ft 1 and only weight 9 stone 12

so that means my body mass indicator is 16.5 and anything under 18.5 is classed as underweight ??
Will i fail?

It's up to the doctor, but that is pretty low so you might get told to put on some weight and come back.

Ahoy there!
You need a couple of good meals in you.
I am the about the correct weight for your height (13 1/2 stones/85kgs), unfortunately I'm only five feet seven inches tall!

hi i did my medical a couple of months ago, nothing to worry about. First they took a ample of my urine, after that stuff like eye sight, weight, ear testing blood pressure and you have to breathe into this thing cant remember what for. Pretty simple. As for the weight thing i dont know, i am 6 ft and 86kg and i was fine.

Good luck
