MEDICAL
Nothing to worry about with the medical. Just turn up at your AFCO to collect your documents to give to the doctor.
You don't need to wear a suit.
Doctor will check the following -
1) Urine test.
2) Check your height and weight.
3) Colour Blindness test.
4) Eye sight test.
5) Check your leg joints.
6) Blood Pressure.
7) Hearing
Thats about it really, he will tell you if your fit to serve, give you the results and you take them back to your AFCO.
Regarding the fitness test, I'm assuming from your other post that your wanting to be a RAF Regiment Gunner ? Well you don't do the 1.5 mile at a gym for Gunner you go on a 3 day PGAC.

Eyup krscott, haven't posted in a while but i'm going throught the same process at the mo so i'm quite up to date on it.
Medical's pretty much as described above, nothing to worry about. The doc goes through your medical history then does the examination, takes about 20 mins.
With regards to the PJFT (treadmill test) it depends on your AFCO and when you first put in your application. It's a relatively new thing for the RAF but if your doing your medical on Tuesday you'll probs have to do it. 12 mins 11 seconds for 2.4k and from what i've been told they don't take into account your time, just pass or fail so should be a peice of piss. Thats as well as the PGAC not instead of, hope that helps mate.
