Take a wild guess...oo yes HUNTER!!

week 31 and hunterised! ... chipper!

Did my knee in whilst yomping up a tor on Final Ex and never recovered...totally f@#k it on saturday doing the endurance course....passed the nine miler whilst taking 3 x the maximum ibrophen (3x600mg + 2 500mg co-codamol) just plodded along at the back then the tarzan today..

didnt do any warm up for fear of twinging it early ... down the death slide choochoo landed went to run and 'Bang' game over. damaged the ligaments but the LT.CDR is giving me physio and injections everyday and am doing the tests with the next troop in 4 weeks time!

just another delay in a long line of delays!

1 week to go aswel it takes the pish!

Sorry to hear that Davo, all you can do is rest that knee and then get back on the waggon.

Hope it wont be too long.

Maybe we should put a sticky up telling people to get themselves exorcised before recruit training to remove the curse of MF (& MF&T).

Thats terrible luck but your close and will be good to go soon.

It took me a year and a week to pass out. Burgeoning stress fractures culminating in in a collapse at the start of the endurance. One weeks sick leave. Many weeks in Chosin Troop followed by Hunter, then did the tests again. Did another twelve years, and work in Iraq in psd (on leave till March), but I still feel a twinge when running, and it takes me back to Woodbury 1986. I miss it.

Well done Davo, last time I was on the forum you were in two minds whether to become a Royal and was looking at joining the Army.

Well done kidda for seeing it through, all the best with your current injury. T
