does anyone know-do you need jamas /dressing gown for raleigh-is there anything not on kit list worth taking-ta

For urine extraction avoidance I would recommend skipping the pjs dressing gown and slippers. In fact when I was in training at Raliegh (or was it Hms Blackcat?) one guy had bought a pair of rainbow coloured slippers which when spotted by the duty PO he was forced to bin them out of sheer embarasment. One tip I will give is take some undergruds to keep just for kit inspections etc, same with a towel. Also you will need a steam iron if no-one has told you that already, good luck mate!
