I was reading the paper before and an article popped up,this chap 'having had family serve in ww1 and ww2' (who's hasnt somewhere along the line?) thought that he was cheated on rememberance sunday when the band didnt play whilst the reife was being laid and that the cadets marching wasnt up to scratch? hmmm.. theres me thinking the day is to remember our dead not to entertain old men with nothing better to do than moan. But what tops it off he said that he only went to watch because it was a clear day? he normally watches it at home. The cadets are there every year rain,snow, and iam sure the few cadets that were out of step are not deliberately trying to be!
BUT HE DIDNT!! HE DIDNT GO TO WAR,HE SAID THAT HIS PREVIOUS GENERATIONS WERE IN THE WARS,which is why they go there to remember them i am saying that rememberance day should be to remember people who did get blown up and did go through hell not to entertain people because its a warm day
why dont you read the schoolkids post before engaging in trying to belittle him maybe then you would realise what he is saying makes sense and that you dont want to admit to have being a jacka.. hmm?

None of us asked them to go to war and I couldn't care if I had ended up a German!! There's people fighting wars today but in 30yrs time when all of the vets from WW1 and WW2 have died will people still be remembering these men and women? I don't think so. Your just a patronising git if you ask me and you don't deserve respect from anyone let alone people that would be serving along side you.
