Stupid Question?

Hey lads, i have been looking at the royal armoured corps for a while now, i am going to go for it. Basicly... my problem is my gf lives in plymouth and if i get based in germany or aldershot near london, as these are the only 2 places i am aware that the tank corps are based. Well... how often could i see her? is there anyway the army help out? such as trains? or anything... sorry if this is a stupid question!
