Try assisted pullups in the multiugym.
Failing that try doing dips. Every time you walk past your pullup bar, do a pull up. If you have something in your hands then you put it down, do the pull up and pick the stuff up.
Where do you do your pullups?
They need to be like this:

pull ups
cheers for that sticky.
i do my pull ups at the gym on a bar that absolutley canes my hands gives me calisis, but there is an assisted pull up machine but the gripping is wider.
at the moment i battle to do 3 but managed to push 4 out the other day.
also what i wanted to know is during the PRMC whe you do sit-ups are they assisted (does someone hold your feet and count) or are you just by yourself.? does anyone know,

you pair up and someone holds your feet and counts your situps, same as for pressups (but they dont hold your feet then put their fist under your chest and count each time you hit it)
If your using a bar to do pullups, when it comes to a beam it is slightly easier as it supports your forearm and gives you better leaverage. Try finding a beam and doing pullups on that, may help you get a few more out.

pull ups
cool mate have you done the PRMC?
yeah i knew about the Push ups but do your elbows have to be right against your body.??
im almost at the stage where i can feel confident about the PRMC. i can do about 50 push ups, 60-70 sit ups but 3 pull ups...
i use a bar as thick as like a dumbell bar.
running needs a lil worl though
any views

years ago and it could all well be very different now.
Have a look at the RM section over on the community forums as alot of the lads who are training for their PRC, or have done it or are awaiting entry are posting about tips on phys and training etc. Some of them are just back from a PRC so would give you upto date info if its not already been posted.
Good luck

Who said "Hmmm, eventually"Is it possible to kill a man with one finger?

Why would you want to kill a one-fingered man, anyway?
What has he ever done to you

Besides doing more chin ups more often you could try what is known in some circles as a 'drop set'. On the lat pull down machine start on the heaviest weight you can do, work till failure, then drop down another weight or two, continue this until your doing it with one weight on and can no longer move. Doing this a couple of times a week should kick those lats into shape and you'll be smashing out those pull ups.
