You poor bloke! That’s savage as hell. I have been moaning about my 5-hour journey but that puts it into perspective now. What time do you have to leave? How has your training going? Are you happy with your results so far? (Press-ups, bleep test, 3 mile etc...)

I have met one other guy on here who is going on the 13th and he is coming from Dover, we think that we may get on the same train, as he will be coming through London but I am not sure if our train paths will cross?

Train goes at 7.20, have to be up before 6, guess i'm getting a head start on the early mornings, one other guy comin down with me for definite, 2 possibles if they put in some hard yards, not unhappy with my scores
52 press ups, 84 situps, 8-10 pull ups, 11.8 beep test, i suck over short distance, an 3 miles in about 20 mins, should be good

Well at least you will have company on the train then. My train leaves at 09.45 and gets in at 14.06, as far as I know though I will be on the train by my lonesome. You sound as though you have prepared, it would be nice if we all got back on the train with big smiles on our faces :D

Gonna be pretty pissed off if i fail, i'm 29 this year and have been told i'll only get the one shot, not sure if thats true but i'm buggered if i'm gonna fail and miss out, need a new pair of boots anyway, mine are falling apart, we dont get in til 16,30ish, sounds like you have a bit of hanging around when you arrive

Yeah it seems that way, well to be honest id probably rather arrive maybe a little later but not that bothered. The train times were advised by my AFCO and thought I would go along with it. Well I’m 21 going on 22 this summer and i think there will be an array of different ages

Are you watching the game? Scotland are putting up a f**king good fight
