Also, it probably gives them a chance to see how confident you are too. I had the same thing in a job interview and that was the reason why apparently (to see how confident I was).
Dalo, i heard your PRMC was full, i have a friend whos friend. was on that and he rekons that only 11 out of the 50-60 passed is that soo? cos thats gotta be an all time low,
RM application 2005, PRMC - tore ACL and PCL ligaments.
Contimplating TA for a couple years before i rejoin RM
Before PRMC i was going to atheltics 4 times a week, running another 2 days by myself, and doing circuits maybe 3-5 times a week but the circuits werent too intense. Yeh this PRMC was supposedly full, there were around 47 on the course and about 25 passed.
Cheers mate, I ain't too far off the mark.
Due to PJFT soon putting more emphasis on the runs now as opposed to circuits all the time, get the mileage up and sharpen with speedwork.
Yeh PRMC is really focused on CV fitness, apart from the excercises in gym test 1 which is mostly CV work anyway you only do press ups etc on bottom field and the warm ups before excercises.
Hey Dalo,
It felt good getting back into my own bed on friday. I bloody hated the beds in our dorm a loverly hard lumpy matrice and a sqeak every time you moved an inch . I don't know about you but i was still nakered monday morning, had to laff about all the sore spots I had though especially the blisters
How was your flight back I'd bet you got back home quicker than me! took me around 5 and a half hours to get back! damm public transport!!
Hey its good to hear from you, im glad i met you on the course. My journey wasnt to good either my plane had to turn back to heathrow because of cabin pressure so i had to get on another one. Yeh ive been tired aswell, ive been having a rest to make sure im fully recovered but im starting up again tommorow.
Have you got any idea of what date you are going to start recruit training?
Yeh it was good to meet you to, it was a bit of a coincidence that we were in the same room opposite bunks from one another. I went to see the AFCO as soon as i got off the train, he already knew that I had passed CTC faxed down everyones results when we left. He's applied for a date around January for me so I've just got to play the waiting game. Have you sorted anything out at all? I'm quite looking forward to beginning training now (if a little anxious) just want to get stuck in & get foundation out of the way! Can't wait to try a cheeky wednesday
I think i am going to go for the 9th of January starting date. I guess that justs means more time to get prepared for CTC, but im not that bothered about the wait. What date in January are you thinking of taking?
