There are physical weaknesses in women compared with men, skeletal structure being the main one (wider hips = more likely to get damaged, and generally lighter frame). It is however the case as I said before that given some women will have abnormally strong frames as much as some men have, that isn't an issue with regards to SF selection.
Though don't forget that in at least a couple of psychological areas women have on average been more capable than men... And they do enjoy other advantages too you know :).

I'm sure if women can fight in the Red Army at Stalingrad as equals in shocking conditions, then i'm sure women could/can hack the SAS stuff.

Don't think of it as removal, more an improvement, an irretrievable adjustment to the former unhappy colocation of unwanted bits, and unhappy bits. It worked for Joan Rivers and the Bride of Fingelstein. (or did it)

Must be getting old and slow, been in t'pub, had me Guinness and munchies, now all I want to do is sleep while you lot blather on about girlies things.
