OK, I see what you mean by your previous statement about the avatar ebing big. Problem was, all I was seeing was the little skull and cross-bones I had uploaded. This is rather odd because now I see a humungous ad banner. Not cool! Time to get rid. Sorry folks. You live and learn!

Heyup Landan Geez,

I knew another bloke who was so uncertain of people`s ethnicity.

He`d have to ask `em, "are you all white?"

He was always doing it

After he`d asked every third person where ever he was, he`d proudly announce that he was "all white"

Then, one night round his gaff there was loads of diet coke involved and that`s all my client wishes to say at this juncture m`lord.

Yea, I'm all white H.

I'm a kind of a swarthy flesh tone moving towards pale brown, secular humanist, with an Irish passport.
Paper is white, snow is white, sugar is white. I'm not white. And black people aren't black they're also brown ranging from pale to dark. I'm not dark.

For those of you who might remember it back in the early 80s, 2 Sqn RAF Regt was called the Coon Platoon and not for nothing

Lots of lads from Bristol and London

Much reggae, ska and 2 tone was listened to in the evenings.

Confused? I hope so...because colour is totally irrelevant...that's why I reacted to whoever it was who used the term "white buggers" or geezers or whatever it was.

Your shrewd idea is probably correct if you mean relationshipwise - yes my wife is Swedish

And for the record, my internet connexion is at work, so no weekend reading/posting. Also I travel aorund a far bit in my job, hence the sometimes large gaps between posting dates.

Very occasionally I`ll say summat like "the black geezer" to qualify which geezer I meant regarding a particular event. I don`t say "the white geezer" because on this site most geezers are white. Who cares?
Till you brought it up mate I wasn`t interested/didn`t care. I just was glad that we had another member of obvious inteligence and humour.

I had to read up on Barrymore as it had (thahkfully) been so many years that I could barely remember him. Then (unfortunately), courtessy of shytapedia, it all came back. I remember thinking back in the 80's, "no grown (straight) man has a right to look that "pouty". Certainly explains his on-stage cavorting about.

Worth the read, though, as it turns out that the guy whose death he was accused of having a hand in was a "meat inspector"! You've got to be kidding me!
