i would get the 40mm ones and about 3 of those.
BARB Test: Passed
Basic Skills: Passed
Written Medical: Passed
Interviews: Passed
ADSC: - Passed
Intake - 1st March
Choosen Regiment - The Coldstream Guards

I got 4 padlocks from boyes for £7 but i think im going to get rid and buy some better ones cause they look cheaply made. Might sound stupid but is it best getting keyed or coded padlocks? cheers.


Btw anyone starting ITC soon? not long now for people going 22nd feb :D

hey mate i am on week 16 of training at itc you dont need most of the kit on the list. i.e trunks, googles, trainers (you get hi tecs isued hehe) you only need 3 pad locks realy. invest in a good gas burner you will b able 2 use them after your intro exercises i.e your tac ex's i go back 2moz after 2 weeks leave and on monday i have tac ex 2 (gutted ) so its gunna be freezin any way good look ... :wink:

I start my training in 7 days :D Cant wait. Just trying to get the last bits and pieces together. Confused about the whole padlocks, have no idea which one's to get as people keep sayin different things.

Who's brought everything on the kit list, i cut out some off the odd things i couldn't see being helpful to me to save cash and weight in the bag lol

i aint going to Catterick just yet, but i would say you need a head torch...

Head torch is really useful! Was for us anyway, impossible to clean your rifle in dress cat 4R in the dark without one...

head torch is a must for Tabing ect, and i thought Speedos were must aswell?
