I thought it might be a bit much to expect people to get the hang of that with so little practice. What of the 12 obstacles do you do on the assault course? Do you do a firemans carry?Daveb wrote:NopeWorthers Original wrote:On the assault course do you do the half regain?

Ahh no, you dont do the Tarzan Course, though you get to see it.
The one I mean is the ropes about 15ft in the air, you pull yourself across then pull yourself up a little further up, run across a wooden plank (and striding over a gap in the middle), pull yourself across another rope, then down a cargo net. It isn't timed, but you need to do it confidently.

My top tip is to make the most of it and stay positive and also just keep going because as many have said before it does end.
i went with my speedos with baby blue stripes on them instead lol. Im unsure on what time the 3 miles was run in but couldnt be far off 22 and a half minutes.

Another amusing part of the course was when after bottom field i called this really high ranking NCO who had been in the falklands a corporal and he just ignored it
, probably because i was swaying around out of my face with exhaustion. Also at the end of gym test 2 an ex-navy lad called the PTI a PO by mistake,
i couldnt beleive he called him a pety officer hahah.
