what I do is run 2-3 miles fast on a treadmill in the morning, then early afternoon I go to this huge hill near my house and do some hill sprints with pressups etc..basically I give myself a good beasting

hehe yeah i agree, Last night my god the wind was horrible, the rain freezing, and the temp about 0c... I can see why after doing that several times it makes u tough!

its easier in the rain i feel...your carrying more weight because of the water but it keeps you cool...and it feels better to run a few miles in the rain when everyone else is sat in their houses :D

no but when youve got a hoody, T-shirt and trakkie bottoms on that are absolutely soaking it does make a difference

and it doesnt rain ''heavy'' water, it rains ''shit-loads of'' water

good job, heavy water is used in the nuclear fission process and if it were raining it then . . . well you'd probably fail your medical :lol:

Hey Beardo whats this rain you speak of in Manchester? i have never seen it before in my life. It doesent rain heavy water here but sometimes it feels like acid rain.

lol get in beardo! ( hmm strange ) :P just got back in from the pool and swam 10 lengths breast stroke and was f*cked i was well dissapointed :( bearing in mind its only a 20m lenght pool. Grrrrr wots wrong with me lol

i logged in expecting replys lol dammmm, anyways iv ran and timed my 3 miler again this saturday and got 21 min 08 secs, which is 47 secs better than my last weeks score. Still not too happy with my times but hey what can i do except keep training my arse off. :D
