Wow, I always though it was so difficult to find an instructor that it was almost impossible. I would love to do Aikido, not that i need it but still.

The Fair byrn Stkes dagger is probably only produced in replicas, which I have seen floating around. Original reps but not battle worthy. I ain't sure if the Commandos still uses it but they probably do!

I have a black belt, and an off brown coloured one too, top quality bought it in millets!
And your right camtech the SAS are indeed issued with a spetnaz knife, but the storeman in Yaroslavskaya is a right stingy basteward and usually hands out crappy SA80 bayonents instead (black market ones are availible and cheap and I think the Hereford lads get them off www.ebay.ru)

Apart from the bayonet, the only knife I was ever issued was the mark 1 clasp knife. There wqas no bottle opener on it strangely enough, fortunately the good old stable belt buckle came to the rescue.
