Holland used to be one of the most accommodating countries in the world and were happy to accept almost anybody into their country. But things have changed and they have now taken a firm stand against asylum seekers. Because of their new stance against bogus asylum seekers the number of applications for asylum has dropped from 10,000 per month to 600 (six hundred) per month. Why cannot we take a leaf out of their book or are our leaders so weak willed they are scared of upsetting other people. Screw other people let's look after our own needy folk first.

I`m quite impressed with the Oz way of dealing with the bastards. 8)
Actually using the navy to keep them out, for instance. Instead of building detention centers that look like Butlins and letting them out to mingle with the locals so they can offski when they get refused, all the centers here are miles out in the bush.During the recent wave of arson attacks all the instigators are now in gaol awaiting deportation. Result? No more arson around.
San Gatt, anyone

It's always polite for the last one to leave to switch the light off. Thank you. :(

Today it transpires we have cocked up their human rights, (which apparently they never had at home) by refusing them benefits when they applied retrospectively for asylum ie they were caught!
I try to be even handed, and think logically, but this is getting to me; and 92% of the people watching BBC News 24 agree with me.

I find myself actually warming to Blunkett and the stance he is trying to take with the Asylum Seekers. Bloody Do Gooders once again sticking their noses in an moaning about Human Rights etc...What about the Human Rights of the Indigenous People of the UK....

What kind of country are we living in where a properly elected
government passes laws, and some tin pot judges can overturn them

Surely don't the citizens of GB have human rights? No according to the judges, especially if you're white, got a job an contributed to the country finacially and not called Ahmed. Get those Scimtars from Heathrow and stick them at the end of the channel tunnel, sod the trains, it might actuallly deter some of them, because the water tight legal system won't.

Sticky, I agree with you!

I quietly admitted to someone that I agreed to a point with some of the BNP stuff and then got called a bloody facist for the rest of the night! 8)

My Dad tried to claim incapacity benefits and invalidity or somesuch benefit last year after having a brain haemorrhage and was told that because he hadnt paid his stamp for about 6 months after he was made redundant a couple of years ago, he was entitled to nothing! Makes my frigging blood boil!

Bet those whining asylum seekers got legal aid too!
Why? Because I can!
