Kerry is a weirdo yankee. Atleast we know what to expect from Bush. I'm voting for Bush even my dad a loyal southern Dixiecrat is voting for Bush. Bush is sort of dim, but atleast he's got balls. Kerry flip flops all over the place.

Kerry now admits that he was present at the"Veterans against the War"meeting as FBI documents and phot's have been de-classified showing him to have been there. He claims to have been against the assasination of Congressmen however.
He now says that he has endorsements from"World Leaders"I wonder who?Kim Jong Il perhaps?I thought he was running for president of the USA,not the world.I figured Chirac or Blair would be first choice's for leader of the world.
Cynical?Moi?Surely not(and don't call me surley)

This election is looking the uglies I have ever seen, my dad is 55 and says the same. Kerry doesn't appear to be mentally stable and he won't name his world leader pals? Clinton and China were ass buddies. Thing is that really gets me on Kerry is he plans to grab guns if elected from citizens. You know we give everything under this "Democrat" ideology to the minorities, queers and women, why can't we keep our freedom of speech and right to bear arms?
Bush would have this election hands down if he'd left Iraq alone until he'd captured OBL.

Another couple of beaut's from Kerry.
Although he only spent four months in Vietnam and harps on about it endlessly,he is now complaining that GWB is using 9/11 for his own political ends.Err..pot and kettle? Now he's going to "create"Ten million new jobs in his first year in office.Outstanding! As we don't have ten million unemployed, who is going to fill these new jobs?
I guess he'll just mirror his adversary and import more Mexicans,or more liklely,French as he finds them far more civilised than his own countrymen.
This guy just creeps me out.He should content himself with flying around to his private mansions(twelve in all)Bullying the help and showing up at the Senate when he feels he should vote on an important issue,ie. pay raises for Senators.

Quick question, (btw i can't stand Kerry either)

I heard somewhere that he earned the Medal of Honor in Vietnam...this true??

If so, I'll be perplexed as to how a smug, left wing, richboy ever got the balls to earn that.

Even though soldiers say that bravery can come one instant and cowardice the next.

Also...4 months in Nam=1 tour...correct?

Just for my sake.

Kerry did not win the Medal of Honor. He was awarded a Bronze Star, a Silver Star and three Purple Hearts.
His actions in combat are very much in dispute, most importantly by men who were there.
A tour in Vietnam was 12 months, 18 months for Marines. So I'm not sure what strings he had pulled for him to get such a short tour, other than maybe some technicality about the number of Purple Hearts.
Others will correct me please if I'm wrong.

Confusion often arises from people getting John Kerry mixed up with Bob Kerry who is a Democratic Senator for Nebraska. Bob Kerry won the Medal of Honor (sic) as a subaltern in the the USN 'Seals' whilst on active service in South Viet Nam. Frank, I believe USMC personnel served thirteen months. No idea why there was a varience with the US Army.

I hate to throw the mud at Kerry (John) but my father converses with ex-generals/officers from the Vietnam War and they said they were handing out medals up the you know what to boost morale toward the end. One General (mataxis) even said purple hearts weren't worth a damn, you could get the them for a shaving cut at the time.

Im sure its differnt now.

Purple hearts are just Enemy Marksmanship medals.

Ho-Hum.
One of Kerry's oppo's who witnessed his first claim to a purple has been quoted as saying"He showed up with a scratch on his arm, holding in his hand a piece of shrapnel, the rest of the company had not been engaged"So,Kerry either went out on his own or he's full of it.
I suspect the latter :o

To much nay say about him before he became someone, I'd say he's crap.

.....and the alternative :o Dubya clearly had people pulling strings to get him a cushy number in the war and he has a proven track record in f****g things up. Ooops, I forgot about Iraq - well, that went well didn't it chaps

It probably sounds odd but climate change will cost us many more lives (if it doesn't get any worse - and it is getting worse) than some self-perpetuating and self-serving war on terror. Oh, and Dubya has a great thumb-up-arse policy on that as well. Still, climate change isn't as exciting as GUNS and ROCKETS and VICTORY. And it's detrimental to the Bush family fortunes.

Wholley,

I take it you don't like Mr Kerry?

What do you think of Al Gore?

I think he has a cool surname...............

Gore.
Mexican bandit, "Badges?! We don't need no stinking badges....."
Major Kong, "Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in vegas with all that stuff....."
Gore, "The first casualty of war is your underpants....."
