I hope so lol. Yeah the train trips a bummer but it'll fly by lol. As for keeping up I'll try lol if i don't I'm sure ill find you at the end haha. I'll prob look tiny in front of everybody else, I'm only 5ft 8, 9st 10. Prob look like a shrimp lol.

hehe, im 5' 9'' 85KGs so thats like 12 or 13stone i think any one good at maths?

My travell is 5 hours!

Aslong as i keep my time bellow para training time i'll be happy.

Nah im like you really bad at maths, my travel time is 4 hours 40 minutes so just under yours lol. Do you have to wait anywhere for a while? i got to sit in sheffield train station for an hour. Paras your first choice then?

Nah, infantry.. back in 1942 one of my relatives (Josh stagg) was in the infantry and got the bravery medal so it inspired me when i was a lil' lad to follow what he did.

Paras is my second choice, i like the idea of the harsh training.

Guards is my last, sollie for the combat role.

My maths is PANTS! lol

Ah i see, so if you had to decide between paras and infantry you'd pick paras? What inf reg you off for?

1st rifles Light infantry, and nah' i will choose infantry over paras (prepares for some one to call me an idiot. lol)

Ahh i was considering rifles when i first applied but decided on my local regiment, 2 Royal Anglian. Is 1st rifles mech or light role?

o just got back from selection yestday like. it was mint up at glencorse. wasnt that difficult tbh, only thinig was the jerry can carry which i was shitting! but i passed it no bother. i passed everything no bother i come 5th out of 40 in the run. and beat my personal score!
BARB Test: Passed
Basic Skills: Passed
Written Medical: Passed
Interviews: Passed
ADSC: - Passed
Intake - 1st March
Choosen Regiment - The Coldstream Guards

nice one tobyj what you going in as? and what was your 1.5 time? Many people fail/get defeered?
