Thats not whats being asked at all but thanks for highlighting that important point. Theres LOADS of threads and discussions on here about why you should NOT hammer the weights to prepare for PRMC/POC/RT. To those of you who want this information (i personally would go and search for it) then please read!

Doesn't Pavel say that doing many reps and many sets is bad? So far most of what has been said on this thread has just ended up confusing me!
yes because he is talking about maximum strength,as in doing a one arm push up or pull up,in that part of my post i was referring to muscular endurance,as in repeating the exercise many times without getting fatigued straight away,as in doing normal press ups.
