I'll second that. Mal
Plus the notion that para-recruit should be banned. His posts get my goat every time i read them.
"All paras are thick that's why they join the paras" - errr- paras have to pass a higher standard on the BARB. Plus you're thinking of joining...?
"I'm very fit" Of course you are. Statements like this are so easy to make, like 'I can run the BFT in 8:00'. It is possible, but more likely is the possibility that someone's telling porkies (this goes for all comments on fitness). If it's all true, I apologise.
None of us know you, this is the internet.
The beef everyone has with you, para-recruit, is your attitude. Even with the scant contact we've had with you it is clear that you hold yourself in extremely high regard and think the world owes you a debt. Some of those far more 'in the know' than me (ED) have told you in no uncretain terms that you're a nobber. Does this not bother you? It would me.
Some advice: Go back and read ALL your posts and the replies to them. They show a clear lack of knowledge and a great deal of immaturity. Considering that you are joining in 2 months, I would advise you discover your character-weaknesses (of which there are evidently many) prior to arriving.
RE: 'Bunker-style forum'. Good idea, but it wouldn't really get used and there aren't many who were in/passed P-Coy. I'd settle for a banishment of the odd-timewaster.

I'd agree with everything said above. A bunker sounds good but would rarely get used.
Arguments and debates are good fun and probably provide more interest in a topic and the Para Reg forum in general. But you've got to have some reasoning to back it up and not just f@#k the entire thread up with mindless bullshit. Every one of his posts is used to shit stir.
Cheers,
ED.

I don't usually come in this 'ere Para bit but what a lively thread this one's been. Some people on this forum remind me of someone I used to know. He decided in school he was going in the RAF, then later the RM. He hardly trained, used to go out on a run once a month or so, stop when he got tired and light a fag. He used to slag me off because, at the time, I hadn't applied for the forces, and he really used to think he was better than everyone. He failed PRMC and came home on the first day. Then applied for RAF regiment... I don't know what happened but they told him to f*ck off. Then wanted to go in DWR Infantry but was told by AFCO to leave it for a while. Apparentley they said to leave it a year. He is now a complete waste. He smokes grass, pops pills and sits around all day looking scruffy and scrawny. He has no plans to go back in the forces...(not that they'd want the slimy c*nt) See, all mouth. Anyone can say they're doing this and doing that, but if you don't prepare yourself physically and mentally, what hope do you have?
