Yes Harry but drugs have been used since i was a kid there has always been the cycling drugs How many Russian and USA medals have been won at all the games because the chemists were ahead of the testers. The win by any means countries always had cash for that . Maybe they should say ok you can have your drugs if you want them, thats not to my likeing though as i have always detested drug cheats in all sports

Harry, serial brufen abuse isnt a no-no during the 30 miler, but concerns were noted in the sickbay incident book that in your case you were abusing the brufen bottle during squats as oppossed to the pills themselves

As for the TdF and Phonaks I SAID PHONAKS (pun there for the hard of hearing) drug issues, well the heam and test levels quoted as "normal" are an average for a normal person, lots of cyclists have failed the tests and have been proved later to be normal. They are fit lads, so high levels of test and haem are to be expected. What hasnt done the bloke any favours in a rounabout way is the fact he had such a dramatic comeback after hitting the wall so badly.

Armstrong once tested for high cortisone, but later redeemed because he was using a cream to treat a saddle sore, now the levels of cort in the cream were low and so were his positive test results, which just goes to show the testing looks at minute levels of increase that could be natural. Pantani had high levels of test, coke aswell mind god rest his bald head.

I was once told by a RM PTI that he cracked one off to increase his test before a weights sesh, I laughed as if I did that then Id be asleep before I released my right hand. Thats probably why I havent the body of adonis as I zonk out during my warm ups

Landis in my opinion is clean, but the frogs wont like another yank winning their race and so the knives are out. I was gutted when Hamilton tested positive, and the recent rumours over the Kaiser. Bottom line is the race isnt cleaning its image up and is too quick to wield the axe.

Even if they are full of EPO and horse hormone then what they achieve is still great, and where do you draw the line, anything from a massage to an electrolyte drink could be classed as cheating. Maybe all riders should ride the same make of bike, and live off bread and water for 4 weeks.

Viva le tour and all that sail in her.............apart from Hincapie as hes a coont.

Who the farq told you about the Brufen bottle :o
Er, it wasn`t me, some other Nod used to do that

You`re probably right Doc(I didn`t just say that out loud did I :o kinnel  )
That seems to be the crux of Landis` defence, mate and Kermit is not a happy bunny that an American rider has won again.
We`ll see.
As Un Grande Masturbator par Excellance myself, I ooze testosterone from every pore. I`m cracking one off now, while I`m typing this 8)

While we await the B sample test, pop over to Landis` website and follow the links to the Larry King show. There is an excellent interview with Landis and his doctor. They have a good case, despite early press comments

www.floydlandis.com

We`ll see.
I hope he`s clean

Well Landis has been sacked and will be stripped of his tour win a very sad day  and i dont think the french tour organisers will be grinning  from ear to ear because a yank has failed a drug test, apart from what some might say. I think that the team coaches or the person responsible for the administration of allowed substances needs to be accountable too and until they are we will still have this problem.Dam the druggies who ruin my enjoyment of sport  yes im well peeeed off about it :(
