The event has just been announced here today. No details though.

Andy O,
It seems Her Majesty has given her permission for Buck House to be
ravaged by the Secret Service, under pressure from No10 I'm sure.
This is all Blair's idea so you cannot really blame us.Bush was initially suprised by the invitation. The Queen has made it clear that any additional security measures, camera's etc are to be temporary and not cause any damage to the Palace. No hope there,Bush better take his American Express card.

Whitey,
I suspect that if he gets close enough Brenda will knee him in the Nads.
It's well known that HRH and Blair do not get along and as this is all his idea heads may roll.Figuretively speaking of course.

Why you call her Brenda Keemosabee?
And why you call Charles the Greek?
I still bet Toney makes her Knight him. Sir Bush, Duke of Stuttersgreen.

Wholley, the report that I listened to stated that interior structural changes to Buckingham Palace were requested, a request which was denied.

Whitey, the reason that the Duke of Edinburgh is given the name Nick the Greek, is because his branch were from the Greek Royal Family. Many of the European Royals were grand mothered by Queen Victoria.

Lew I also saw what Bush was brining with him, he's brining enough men and equipment to take over a small country. That's the cowboy coming out in him ye-har.

By him coming to the UK I feel he is only going to make trouble for him self and us. Bush stay at home because no one gives a flying fcuk what you have to say.

I aint seriously anti yank like all these wet, lefty types. But cumin over here, surrounded by body guards and driving thro london in a big motorcade. Its far to in your face, couldnt he just land quitely in an undisclosed location and conduct whatever business he has to on a more discreet basis, ud think thats better for security.

I understand that a group from East Anglia are making a paper mache 20' model of Bush with Tony Blair in his pocket, the intention is to assemble the effigy in three parts in Trafalgar Square and on Thursday it is hoped that said effigy is being toppled when cavalcade of cars passes, reminding Dubya of the toppling of the Saddam statue in Baghdad.

I wonder if our own democracy will allow this to happen..............?

Tabber,
I'm with you on this,
He could have just flown in quietly,
taken care of business and slung his hook without all this fanfare.
However,It's Blair who insisted on the State Visit.
Bush hates this kind of thing as has been noted elsewhere.
I think its wrong time, wrong place personally.
$8.000.000 just for security?It's a joke,just not a very good one.

But it's a STATE visit. Whatever we think of GWB are we going to give in to the threat of terrorism and let them [indirectly] dictate to us who we can have here on a state visit and who we can't? Don't think so!

Especially in view of some of the so-called 'Leaders' we've invited to the UK in the past.

How about we take up a collection and pay Artist to paint Bush's dog Barney?

Hilarity might ensue...
