Make sure they get your correct score aswell because i scored 12.5 but when i saw my scores in the final interview it said 11.5...still passed by slightly pissed it was lowered. One lad on mine ran at county level and he was beating the beep at 13.5 or so and they made him stop in the end.

There is a poster in my old gym claiming that david beckham and lance armstrong both completed all the levels on the bleep test.I know that they did some sort of fitness tests across alot of rugby players a few years ago which might have included the bleep test and that neil back score absolutely freakish levels of fitness:thoroughly recommend his book for those looking for inspiration;alot of his training is applicable to marine training,ie/circuit training etc and functional/muscular fitness(note:the england rugby union team have trained with the marines a number of times and cant get over how professional they are,not to mention the fact they're all nutters apparantly!)

If you are training for the PRMC then I am not sure that you should be training to the bleep version of press ups and sit ups. This was introduced a few years ago but I think that it was withdrawn a couple of years later and the approach returned to as it was before i.e: 2 mins for as many situps as you can do, unlimited time for press up but your knees cannot touch the ground and you have to keep going, 1 min for as many burpees as you can do, unlimited time for as many overhand pull ups as you can do as long as you do not touch the floor and finally the grid sprints (5 x 60 meters). Anyone who has trainined hard should be able to max the sits ups (85), and max the press ups (60). The other are maxed out at 48 for the burpees and 17 for the pull ups; which is easier for some body shapes than others. In any case if you max the press ups and situps and then can score over 30 for the burpees and 8 for the pull ups then you will be OK for this part of your assessment. Notwithstanding all of this train with the intent of maxing everything and do not stop on the day because you think you have done enough.
