Running @ foundation - frequency, distance, duration, speed
I'm 100% sure it was run at 9 min/mile as we were told right after finishing. The post asked about the early stages of RT and I was just giving an idea of what we encountered. Pace was obviously increased from then on to bring the troop up to speed. Not sure about being a 'cotton wool' troop, perhaps boys who experienced different training teams could comment better.
to jasmine:i been doing 1.5 miles for a start into running and doing them at around 8:38:--9 mins, i now doing 2 miles ish(maybe 1.8/9) at 14:27 though i did do a 13:38 yesterday
(though i think my swimming helps)
once i get my runnign to a constant pace ie no slow downs i think il improve better, im going to start 3 miles once i do this and hope to get a good 21 mins-20 mins if i can not slow down.
for interval training what exercises do you suggest sinse i want to be better at assult crouse work ie " 5 ft wall and back ect", also this will help with bleep test.
any help welcome, as will i help with swimming questions
