Looks like I'm having hat for scran tonight then!

When you first came here I would have put money on never making this post, so I guess that shows one, what I know, and two, where iron will & determination can get you. I have great respect for anyone who gets that beret, but vastly more so for someone who, in the face of accepted wisdom and everyone telling him he'll never make it, sticks two fingers up and proves them all wrong. You took a lot of flak here, but cracked on and got the job done; and that's the best example for all the younger guys here looking at PRMC that I can think of. Proud of you lad.

Well done, Royal! :D

Lads im going to be honest here, Felias was derided a bit on here a year or two ago.

Two years on he's out on the piss (hopefully!) with the rest of the 923 King Squad, as an original. :D

awsome achievement mate,

Just a couple of questions:

The 30miler what is the terrain like, ive spent a lot of time in dartmoor, but i was just curious on what sort of routes you take;

mostly paths?
A LOT of incline?
how many breaks/how long are the breaks?
how much are you running and how much walking?
etc etc

Thanks very much, and very well done.

The route is a mixture of metal roads, foot paths and rugged terrain with plenty of hills obviously.

I think we had 3 - 4 check points where we stopped for a pasty or banana which lasted a couple of minutes, then other occasional water stops.
I would think the amount of water stops will vary depending on the conditions - eg more will be required in the summer ?

The Sgt who took our syndicate said that we will be aiming to walk up hill, run downhill and run 50 % of the flats.

Rich.
