Stinky:

I for one dont think your a bad guy, you just need to start engaging your brain before you hammer away at your keyboard with wild abandon.
Your heart seems to be in the right place mate you just need to think before you post. If its not MFAT related take it to YAHOO

And dont worry about other members having a dig at you, its easy you have a go at someone when there not in the same room.

I totally agree with this statement.

Have a watch of this because I think that, whilst it is funny, it is also very relevant.

posting and you

Just to say, im not having a go at stinky, i was having a go at his post and suggesting/advising that he really should have thought a little more before he posted it, and therefore he may have answered his questions himself before asking others. If anything this kind of response and that of those he got from others should do him no harm and actually help him in the future, as if he gets to CTC (which i hope you do stinky, i think.. :o ) he will have to think very carefully about when to open his mouth and what to say, otherwise he will recieve far more of an earbashing (amougst other things) than he gets on here.

Stinky,

I agree with sentiments that others have expressed, i dont think you are a total plank, i think you have your heart in the right place, and whilst you ask some planklike and stupid questions now and then i dont actually think you do it in purpose. But that said, you really do need to try and think before you post, engage your brain and really think is the post your going to make worthwhile/relevent to the forum?

Trust me, if you dont get used to doing that, and you ask totaly irrelevent and stupid questions down at CTC believe me you will be in for a shock, as the training team won't take too kindly to questions that waste their time or that have already been adequately covered previously. A bone question will recieve a bone answer, and most likely something else a little more creative to stop you from asking again without thinking.

It's good to hear your training is coming along, and your right you still need to get those times on your runs down a little more, aiming at 7 or 7 and a half minute miles is your best next step i would have thought.

dwarfy,

Stinky & Mutly!

Stinky, you are completly mental. You have not even done PRMC yet and you are worrying about a stupid dog to keep you company, you think they are gonna give you a dog on sentry duty?. Being a Marine is about total sacrifice and selflessness, you can't be thinking about creature comforts like pets. Your mind is clearly not set on the Marines otherwise you would not even be thinking about a dog to take to your base and posting the questions on a fitness forum.

On a more constructive note, Mutly would be pretty good on bottom field assault course, he would probably be okay on the 5' wall, but the 6' would probably be a no no. He could swim through the monkey bar tank and skip accross the moving bridge, he would be ace at the tunnels and probably would not be shy of the water jump. I reckon mutly would ace the 3 miler but his pullups, pressups and situps would definitely make him fail gym test 1.

I don't think Mutly would be too good at carrying the ammo boxes in gym test 2, if he as much as barked or scratched his ear with his paw he would get beasted by the PTI's. I reckon CTC is a no no for Mutly, he would defo fail the PRMC, plus they would not have boots small enough for him. A PRMC fail for Stinkys Mutly me thinks.

PLEASE GOD, I hope this guy never gets anywhere near Lympstone, if there are people like him in the Marines our Country is doomed!

Doesn't he get tired of the abuse? Maybe he enjoys it!

If you pass your PRMC or even your PJFT I don't think you will be popular in the Marines as everyone would be getting constant beastings because of your pea sized brain!

If I see one mor eof his dumb ass posts i'm leaving this forum. :x

Hey, first of all, i new i've been reading for a while but decided to sign up, and second of all, I've had dogs all my life and read stinkys post.
erm... if you've never had a dog dont dare get a husky. even i wouldn't consider it and i consider myself a good dog owner with quite a bit of experience. you wouldn't be able to handle them, they are extremely high maintainance. Sorry to burst you bubble.
Oh, and i'm sure i've seen marines who handle dogs as security. If you really want a dog go to your local dog centre or pet shop, they should be able to help you with a dog that would suit you, and please consider the RSPCA.. :D
