In foundation there wasn't much time to use your phone but once you get into your 6 man grots (after the working day has finished, usually around 5ish) you can use your phone all you want.

I just stuck my bluetooth headset in while doing my ironing.

Isit worth bringing music to listen to? Do you actually have time to listen to it?

After the working day has finished the time is your own so listening to your music whiles't cleaning your room, tidying your locker, ironing etc will be fine.

Why? Surely they have the same licencing laws?

Not many places in Exeter allow recruits in thier pubs Ali. Nothing to do with licencing laws, its just to keep trouble to a minimum as there are a fair few idiots who don,t like recruits. The turks head (nods head) used to be about the only one where you could really go and stay....still the same anyone?

hogs head. Yeah we can still go in there and most nods do, Its pretty much still the only place you can get in. It is possible to get in other places but you've got to go in with another group, if u can bribe a couple of birds to let you push in the Q and go in with them you should be ok lol.

just take a second and think about it, you are all from the ages 16-25ish, and you are in nice black shoes, denims, and a collard shirt, not to mention you have shaved heads and when you leave its just not your troop, its also all the others, so then you have about lets say at the least 200 shaved headed people in exeter, its not that hard to pic out a recruit.
