I think I saw an advert for next weeks episode, looks like there’s a rugby games or something. Not sure who with, might be French Special Forces. I would love to see this for real it would be so violent. of course i was drinking (BBQ weather
) so it could have been an advert for the rugby world cup

stuck in a rut, unsure about the future, unsure about the military lifestyle, for a while anyway

I can't beleave I wasted 60mins of my life with that crap.....doesn't it have Chris Ryan in it? That's what I was told....probably bull (Matt!!) That's the whole reason I watched it, thinking it might be quality. Absalute boring bollox...painfull

No, Chris Ryan isn't in this series (and a good thing too!), he was asked to do it again but the silly bugger was demanding too much money. Personally I think that the last epidose did seem much less realistic than the last series, but considering this is really only intended to be a brainless gunfest I think it's better this way
.

Bah, that effort was terrible. I did get my hopes up slightly when the announcer mentioned "contains violence from the outset", but that was limited to putting holes in a few targets. NOOOO! Oh sorry, they did also get into a huge fight with the ferocity of, erm, Eastenders, and by gum there was some harsh language!

Watched the second episode from about 20 mins into it, can some one tell me what happened in the 1st episode of the new series, as I turned over to see guns, fighting and men going through windows in black combats, but saw something more fitting to a court room drama…
What the hell was happening there???

in a nutshell Red Troop were tasked to track a suspicious ship at southampton. henno and jamie were sent aboard to plant a tracking device but they got rumbled and the shit hit the fan and there was a big gunbattle and everyone else joined in. jem got killed and caroline was in a coma. then it turned out that the gunmen were actually french special forces that were on an undercover mission to infiltrate the criminal gang on aboard and the whole thing was basically a cockup. the govt then announced a judicial enquiry which is what u saw this week.
did we beat the french ???

Yup the French blokes lost the firefight. However as you probably saw, the court was so amazed by one of the officers admitting he's not perfect that the SAS got off. Don't you just love the realism in this thing?
One other thing, I have to say this episode did have one good bit, I loved the part when the blokes went into the pub, and the CO was just standing on the side, bemusedly watching blokes being chucked around left right and centre
