I think you know the answer to that. Besides, the thread is about cadets, so asking irrelevant questions is off-topic. Maybe you should save irrelevant questions like that for PM. But im not in the military, so what the fk would i know.
If the thread was entitled, "Tell everyone about yourself and your military experiences", your question would be spot on. Unfortunately, its not.

I fear James may *already* be telling people he's a para... even though his basic isn't till January. If he f@#k it up and gets binned or jacks then I fear we may never benefit from his bottomless pit of military knowledge and common sense ever again - if he does pass then I fear we may never hear the last of his rambling, arrogant posts.
OK - This thread is getting ridiculous.
James - you have your own views about CCF and other cadet units, and I think you are well qualified to talk on such matters considering you were a SNCO and were a member for over 3 years. But, you need to address the way you talk/write. You get people's backs up when infact what you are saying shouldn't be that contraversial. Try not to be so agressive and take other people's views on board.
Pegasus - May I first ask why your name is such??? Secondly, you are being unreasonable. You DID generalise and your first dig at CCF was not qualified with a 'from what I have seen'. Not impressed.
At the end of the day, cadets IS what you make it. You'll have a laugh and learn a bit about the military. What a lot of people use Cadets/OTC as is actually to 'try out' a military-type lifestyle to see if they want to join for real. There's tossers in all units (that's cadets AND instructors) but it is expected, and you just get on with it.
Everyone needs to stop giving James a hard time. Especially you Stephen. If you actually READ his posts, he doesn't claim to be 'in' yet. Yes he is very opinionated, but everything he says is just that...an opinion. You may not agree with what he is writing, but for fcuks sake give it a rest. He's passed RSC for paras and he's committed to Basic. So leave him be and save your abuse for if he fails.

Your a right cnut you are. You people may think i am "arrogant", but i know what i want, and i have goals. I will fcuking achieve those goals. I would NEVER claim to be IN the regiment, until i have EARNED my place there. You had better standby WHEN i pass training...Stephen wrote:I fear James may *already* be telling people he's a para

Stephen, i happened to notice on your Profile...."Interests - Training for Paras." Yet you are in a Regiment in Pribright. You want to be a para do you Stephen, you pervert.
Let me try and put the record straight. James has never ever said that he is a Para, I may have had words with James over certain things, but never for claiming that he was one of Gods Own.
know doubt James will keep us informed on how he gets along with his training as a Para next year.
Till then Gentlemen can we please return to subject on this thread which his headed [CADETS]

As to second part of your opinion, well your entitled to voice your opinion; I don`t think I`ll be losing too much sleep over it though
