They shouldn't be allowed.
Thats on the arguement that Citizens of the Commenwealth aren't given citizenship either.

However if you put your life on the line for a country, they should be given citizenship.

If a man has nothing he is willing to die for then he isn't fit to live.

Really?
well in that case fair enough they can have it.

Personally I think if you fight and die for a country you should get a least a little present at the end. Even the FFL gets this.

I don't know mate, I ate their food for about a month and loved it. Although I almost died eating this chicken dish that had tons of little bones in it when I was drunk one day. Gurkhas are great guys, one of them offered to pick me up from the airport when I go to England after knowing me for about 20 minutes. Cheers, Kyle.
The best thing about high school girls is I keep getting older but they stay the same age.

You obviously got way too "North Americanized" in Canada. AAA beef will do that to you (or it is it mad cow?).

You've also obviously never had a Nepali goat curry; either that or you have no taste. A good Gurkha curry is a thing of beauty. I ate in the Gurkha mess at every opportunity in Brecon.

Johnny Ghurka is a damned good troop and I have had the pleasure of working with him many times over the years. There is a reason why so many of them have "Bahada" (Brave One) as their middle name and it isn't because they're slouches!

They have served our country well and have a wonderfully proud and rich heritage. I vote to give them citizenship! They are a damn site more deserving than half the so-called citizens disgracing the UK right now, anyway!

As for "funny people"... Johnny Gurkha would be through the objective, cleaning the blood of his kukhri, and prepping a damned fine curry with his other hand before any Canadian commander had finished his sat phone call to "higher" asking permission to fart! If that makes 'em "funny", then sure.

If it wasnt for the Gurkas and the Royal Irish the British Army wouldnt have a shooting team.

I'm also a bit miffed that they dont draw the same pay as the rest of us.
