Im having problems practicing press ups. I understand that you have to keep your elbows tucked in-fair enough-but i cant get meself low enough down to touch a tin of beans (on its side-to represent a fist). Shall i just practice or are there any other hints u lot could give???

I was under the impression you have to do pushups wide-arm?

Get some push up bars too, I got some the other day, they are great, put all of the weight onto your arms and shoulders.

push up stands are great. i got a pair 2 weeks ago and can feel the difference already. not bad for £5.

I was gonna get a skipping rope too, and a pull up bar-but im slightly to heavy for it so id best shed a few more lbs.

Freestyler,make sure u are getting low enough.Because at PRMC they dont count if ur chest doesnt touch your partners knuckles...

surely if ur oppo has tiny hands its going 2 be a lot harder?

i think the only way to get good at them is to practise how you'd do them at ctcrm as your only going to do them like that when you get there.i was having loads of trouble doing them untill i realised i was going down too far (i was touching the floor with my chest) but now im doing them right it's no trouble, you'll soon get the hang of it.

WOW STOP WITH ALL THE PRESS UP TALK IT'S BEEN COVERED A TRILLION TIMES USE THE SEARCH! THERE WAS A POST NOT LONG AGO SHOWING A VIDEO CLIP OF THE APPROPRIATE WAY TO DO A PRESS UP!
