When we did it, we wore ammunion boots [metal tacks in sole] so there :P

yeah, i've seen the old one when i was on a visit at browning barracks in aldershot, had a great view of it from my window. one of the lads in my room on the insight visit looked slightly perturbed when he saw it and said "god, they won't make us do that will they?"

my dads mate was in 7 RHA and he said its a case of just getting it done, and not thinking too much.

I rekkon the 6 ft running jump will be more nerve racking than the shuffle bars. Ive got a bridge near me which has hand rails either side of it, so i had a go doing the shuffle on them. Was fun, and the fact that my mate would only do the bottom set of bars, when i was straight up on the top set :P

There is no hand rails on the shuffle bar, but there is two bloody great shackles in the middle[or there was]

ps Maybe you won't have to do them if you are taking the easy route. :D

NO, i know there isnt hand bars, but on the bridge near me, i WALK on the hand bars.
