Yes, well, grope2, it helps to know who you discuss these things with on here. As to rawli, he's an NCO at 1249 (dereham) squadron RAF, which you can find out by reading introductory posts.grope2 wrote:Mainly that's like less than 'all' right? Hence he is issued boots, among other bits of kit.
Now, if I read correctly his first post here, he is also looking to purchase some on his own.
The question is would anything he spent money on be better than what's been issued to him? Greenronnie and others' point is that issue boots are good enough that going to spend a servicemen's hard earned cash on alternatives would be a waste of money.
This point of view comes from a vast body of experience.
What you read as "conflicting behaviour", I personally read as rather gentle ribbing, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

"You should treat your aircraft like you treat your woman."
"So you should take your plane out to dinner and a movie?"
"No, get in her 5 times a day and take her to heaven and back!"

Yes, Frank.s explained it, unfortunatly for you it also showed why your not a moderator.Greenronnie wrote: BTW grope2 (nice username there, does that indicate how far you've got with your fellow schoolgirls?), check out Frank's response for an explanation. ie, Read before you post.

grope2, I don't know what you could be doing on here, if it wasn't trying to fit in somehow.
So now it's time to look at your stats:
Total posts: 73
[0.06% of total / 10.43 posts per day]
Over 10 posts a day, and it is becoming apparent you are more motivated to post than read. So the conclusion is, read more and post less, before getting into any more p......g contests with adults.
You could take that as a put down, but you'd be wrong. Take my advice, read, and know who you're engaging.
Because the alternative would be for you to continue down this road and demonstrate you only care about throwing your notions out there. That is not what communication is about, that is not what forums are about.
You are 15 and trying to talk down to a career soldier. Come on.
Who's funny now?
Seriously, consider the above, because so far you're not getting high marks from the membership.

Hey, i haven't done anything wrong, why should he have to raise to the occasion to drum down someone younger? Maybe he get's a kick out of it? I don't know and i don't care. The guy who made the post didn't care so why should greenronnie? I don't think that it isn't me who you should be talking to but then again...i'm not a moderator and as you so quaintly i am 15 and you obviously think it's easier to talk about my faults than grown mans, cowardice? He had no need to rise to anything i wrote since it had nothing to do with him.

Now your passive-agressive response and whiny tone are beginning to really grate.grope2 wrote: I don't think that it isn't me who you should be talking to but then again...i'm not a moderator and as you so quaintly i am 15 and you obviously think it's easier to talk about my faults than grown mans, cowardice?
My advice stands: read more post less, instead of over-reacting.
You will know you've gone wrong when you get a first warning from me.
Have you gotten one yet? No.
So buck up and shape up. I suggest you take a break rather than continue trying my patience.
