Just got back from the North Staffs Hospital stoke.
In Sunday, reamed Monday, rest tuesday, out on (excuse pun) me ars* Wednesday! Should have stayed in till Friday but this "Doctor" (HA!) reckoned that I was fit to be discharged this afternoon. Have a packet of baby wet wipes and instructions to give to my GP vis a vee changing dressing.
If you ever want to be depressed just stay in a NHS hospital. Fat ugly deadpan nurses with all the compassion of a dead dog with kin Hic-Cups!
Am starving myself at the moment, the dump I had this morning..............
less said the better. How Queers can abide having there rings stretched, pinged and otherwise interfeared with is beyond me! The rubber ring the daughters bought is a Godsend!
Cheers for the cards lads, dead touched (well on monday I was anyway)
Came home to an empty house as missus has legged it to Leeds with the Mk4 to visit M-in-L. Suits me as am not a happy hector trying to find a comfortable postion to rest me inflamed nether regions. Worst thing is that have not been able to take the pain killers I use for the old knackered back so that is hurting as well as me ar*e.
Well I suppose Beast had better close this thread now as the offending items are now gone (up the chimmney Monday night).

Oh......so I see your here again......when do you go back!
Really... Its great to hear you again,Steve. Though I doubt that your solitude will be somewhat long lived lived......The description of the nursing staff may have something to do with it..... What was that,....that went over my head... travelling in the general direction of Cheshire

Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

Steve,
Glad to hear you survived the operation and the recuperation. You have my admiration for the sheer courage in going ahead with the operation, when so many 'advisor's' have given so much information.
Best wishes for the next couple of weeks.
