Rogue Chef

We haven't heard from 'Doverparatrooper' for a while either! Now there was a Para who could actually spell, and used correct grammar. A true representative of his young Regiment, and a pleasure to spar with. He, and his comrades DFS and Feathers, could well be improving their tans by now. Let's hope someone is there to point out to them which is the enemy, BEFORE they open fire!
Meanwhile, we seem to have their illiterate 'rear party' trying to wind us up!
Does anyone know why 'Airborne' isn't with them? Why doesn't he know their Regimental history? Why does he think they are elite when their last operational jump was in 1956 at Suez? Why is his Regiment costing the British tax payer £200,000,000? Why did they move his Regiment from Aldershot to an area closer to the Military Correction Centre at Colchester? (To save travel expenses?!)

It's pointless asking him direct as I haven't got the right code book to decipher the answer.

Don't necessarily think they're better...we've been through this before! Both are renowned as tough, professional, elite forces throughout the world. Royal knows they're good because they've completed the longest infantry training in the world, succesfully passed the feared Commando course, have an Officer/Marine relationship that you simply can't find elsewhere in the armed forces, are amphibious infantry-an utterly vital commodity, and are always needed to do the business when there's trouble afoot. I'm not even going into comparing SBS and SAS!

Everyone knows P-Company is tough, everyone also knows that God failed the Commando course :D Thank you, good night and goodbye.

Incidentally, you're not related to Chris are you?

Nice. Rhyming like kids with a skipping rope, very clever. Anywaaaaay, what exactly was this thread about in the first place? Anyone else wanna wade in and help (shout) AIRBORNE understand what 'playful banter' is?

Airborne...I am certainly NOT your 'old son', or I would have topped myself!

I said your Regiment hadn't carried out an OPERATIONAL jump since 1956. Who were you attacking in Norway in 1989?!!!!!!!!!!! :o
That will be another expensive enquiry coming up!

It's probably best to get someone to read the postings to you, if you're not sure what they mean.

"wannabe wannabe never f****** will be"

...to most people that counts as acting like a kid. Can we end this? I very much doubt the others are going to be happy to find their forum hijacked! I would not be surprised to find out that i've been biting all along actually  Mr. Parry, if you're responsible for this...........

Dan et al, not me, not guilty m'lud. Airborne has been PM'd and requested to use the asterisk and initial letter of the requisite word.
As I've already explained to other non-bootneck personnel, we specialise, roll in and generally love good natured banter. However it quickly goes over the top, but usually when the inflection of our comments is lost, as with our American visitors. So, bottom line, keep it healthy, keep smiling, any problems send H or myself a PM, and the dark forces will be invoked! :o
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.
