I don't understand all this blasphemy about the rifles used.
Different weapons are used for different purposes, I would have to say with proper care the SA-80A2 is a decent rifle.

I have found however one of the reasons for alot of the stoppages caused seems to be 'although' I'm not a weapons tech by far is that alot of the problems that particular model have are found in the poor grade of ammunition issued to the British forces.

Just my opinion though.
If a man has nothing he is willing to die for then he isn't fit to live.

The PF get high altitude para pay, about £9.25 a day.
