Thanks for the advice guys, as I said I'm at the Gym 5 days a week for about 2 and a half hours, and they are heavy sessions, I get cramp sometimes when swimming due to how much I focus on my legs, as I can imagine strong legs being the most important attribute for training Phase 1.
As for Diet I have a bowl of Musli for breakfast, soup for Lunch and a home cooked meal of Dinner, sometimes I Snack on a packet of crisp but not to often, and I never really eat sweets or chocolate, my only sorta down falls is drinking on weekends and I do enjoy eating bread with all my meals, both of which I am cutting down on.

Millar,
Tab is spot on.
Don't concern yourself with statistics and nutritional supplements, get out and do your stuff.
You'll waste so much time studying and worrying about charts rather than just getting on with it.
14 stone for a six foot bloke is not a problem, provided that 14 st is not flab.
In you first post you mentioned a healthier diet, but funds don't allow it. Nonsense mate.
Not eating crap costs precisely nothing. Then, if funds are short, go down to ASDA and get yourself some out of date fruit, veggies and meats. Bargain!
Nothing wrong with a bit of bread and beer occasionally!
Tab, I mentioned the 3 to 4 meals a day because that is what he will get in recruit training, however I manage on one meal a day, with perhaps some light nibbles in between (sometimes those nibbles are in liquid form!)

Yea I suppose I just worrying far to much and my actual wait is near 13 stone now, I said I was 14 stone when I first applied to the Army but since then it's near 13.
I was also curios to see what other people do when at the Gym or working out in general so we can compare and new people could ask for advice if they have any questions about first steps towards fitness for ADSC etc

When I was in the Regiment we got three meals if we were lucky. Breakfast was a piece of toast, a fried egg which had been cooked the night before and was tough as leather and a ladle of peeled plum tomato's plus a mug of tea, and we got this every morning that we were in camp. the other two meals could be a mixture of any thing so we would eat out of an evening in one of the greasy spoons in Shot.
When we were overseas they had a surplus of corned beef so we had corned beef fritters for breakfast, corned beef sandwiches for lunch and curried corned beef for tea. As we could not get out for food so we used to raid the ration packs in the QM's compound and feast on steak & kidney pud with tins peas followed by pineapple chunks and condensed milk.
I often wonder just how much time I would have done if I had been caught with all these goodies

When I done my Insight Course we did an exercise outdoors for the night, and I was presently surprised at how decent the ration packs really are, I had a very nice chicken curry followed by a desert of mixed fruit cocktail and a cup of warm hot chocolate to wash it all down with.Tab wrote:As we could not get out for food so we used to raid the ration packs in the QM's compound and feast on steak & kidney pud with tins peas followed by pineapple chunks and condensed milk.
