Royal engineers phase 1

What were your choices, 98% of the time your first choice is your job choice.
Everyone does the same phase 1 anyway so noreal need to worry.
Also everyone in the engineers does 10 weeks combat engineering and then specializes.
You will also get papers through soon probably a week before attestation.

First choice was building and strutural finisher next was bricklayer and concrete and the other was carpentry and joinery

I wouldnt worry to much about selecting a trade. They will probably ask you during your training anyway, however if not then you can ask then. Just worry about getting fit and staying healthy. The rest will fall into place.

There's probably some underlying mystical chinese feng shui reason for selecting 12:17pm on Thursday March 03 2011 that us mere mortals cannot comprehend... I'll need to check my star charts to see if some planets happened to be aligned at that time....
