Well I have got myself a membership at my local gym.
Went yesterday and went for it, paying for it today, aiming to go once every 2 days.
Aiming to be able to start running to the gym (approx 1/2 a KM) comfortably at a reasonable speed and doing the machines there and then start to progress onto timed running round and about.
I thought personally Gym's were a waste of money, especially the one i did use, i found it more rewarding training out in gods green earth, especially the running. my fitness as slipped slightly i think as the past 2-3 weeks i been decorating and d.i.y'ing until the later hours of the night and starting again in the small hours of the morning.

Just had a nosey on google maps and i have a nice country lane with some hills thats exactly 0.5 miles long just down the road so going to give that a go.
Trying to find out how long it is apporximately from the completion of your BARB test till the ADSC, any idea?
Yeah it doesn't take too long for any one to build there fitness up, good choice of jobs. I'm not sure what the run time for those jobs at ADSC would be, maybe over 12 minutes apart from the run ADSC is the same through out.

Having a look at this ADSC DVD now, seems quite good but quite hard .
Mixture of looking forward to it and dreading it .
There's nothing to it really mate, it's a quick taste of army life thou many people who've done it and joined say it's nothing like.
It's really easy, even the run thou for me i sucked ass at it because i got a stitch on the first part and was in agony but still made it with in my time.
don't listen to any one on here who says dressing smart doesn't count, it does a chap. a chap i know from the site who attended adsc was failed because he went to his final interview in a track suit because some lad maybe got lucky and said 'It doesn't matter at all' though the chap should have used hsi intellegence.
[EDIT]
Revised my English.
