I do want to go on a insight course but my recruiting sergeant won't set one up from outside the local area.
Its just to get more of an insight to the infantry.
Do you know what other regiment do the insight course?

When I went in April we got there in the evening, did a bleep test then had food. Next day we did the 1.5 mile run, jerry can walk, sit ups, press ups, chin ups then played football. Sunday morning before we left we did the log race and had a one on one interview with one of the guys who told us how we did and whether they think we would pass CIC Para at the present time.

You feel brilliant after it and see that they aren't all nutters with guns like you're told and are just normal guys. They made a point of saying that you don't have to be superman to become a para, just be determined and have a good level of fitness.

There were about 30-35 people on the Para insight course I went on.
Don't pull face's, it means nothing to me I can't feel a thing. You must drive forward.
