Well I had wanted to have already re-applied by now but had to wait for ages before I got my knee sorted, finally had the operation the other week so now I need to build up the strength in my leg and get back to training so not sure when they will be.

I'm thinking about asking if I can start the paper work first and hold off any fitness stuff until I'm ready as that may help cut the time down a bit, but I have my doubts if that's possible.

As for the Officer route, well for a start I don't have the qualifications and I don't think it's my sort of thing really.

Fair enough, just a pity, as you seem to have a better head on your shoulders than plenty of potential orifices I've met :wink:

Also, I know it's frustrating, but I know a bloke who rushed getting back to fitness after a knee op as well as another couple who have rushed back from injuries, and it has only fcuked them over & held them up for much longer.

28 weeks, and you get your theory test done in the last week if you haven't already got your driving licence.

After tour I'm going for the Para Regt, I was at 4 PARA recently with Crow St but got injured so that went the way of the pear. So to answer your question, not doing AAPPS. Good luck for when you get back.

Yeah, I know what you mean but I've no intention of going back until I'm 100% fit again, like you say there's nothing to gain from rushing back into things.

Oh and I'm sorry to hear about you missing out on doing P Company that's a tough break.

@jammin87

It was just an arthroscopy to fix some damaged cartilage, the recovery time for the operation isn't that long really the problem was that I had to wait months before I got to see the consultant, then another two months before I had the op.
