yea my window does the same and my bed is directly under the window so the light comes in under the curtain straight onto my face around 6-630. but my biological clock is set to wake me up around 6 as i've been having to get up at 5:30am everyday for the past 6 months for work so i guess in a way its a good thing :)

Set your alarm and then put it on the otherside of the room, so you have to get OUT of bed to turn it off. The main reason people go back to sleep after their alarm is because they never actually got out of their nice warm coumfy bed.
Set it on top of you're Running/gym cloth's with a piece of scrap paper saying something like "Get Yer arse in gear and run you lazy slob!" (kind of strange I know but it works for me)

That way when I wake up in the morning and go to switch me alarm off I get that wee reminder not to go and climb back in bed gets me self shifted.

Perhaps I’m just strange doing that :-? but the way I figure it's what ever works for you. I know me dad when he was younger said he just used to have his alarm by his bed and when it went off used his will power to get up and go running. everyone's different.

In the end though it is all will power... the body gets used to it after a while (I’ve started waking 1-2 minuets before my alarm goes off)

best of luck

P.S. get a REALLY loud alarm clock to sit you up ridged at 6 AM. If you still feel tired and groggy before a run dunk you head in a basin of ice cold water to waken the senses. (just a few more idea’s)
