i do 2 miles each sprint session mate, might seem far i know but i've worked it out that it takes me a total of 6 to 8 sprints to hit a mile (so i'm doing around 12-16 best effort sprints a session)

lads honestly ive just come back from prmc , dont worry about your scores as long as there alll reasonable you'll do fine with the right mental attitude. Ive timed my 3 miler once before i went and i think that was around the 22 mark , just stay positve and youll do it.
Don't consider failure and then it wont consider you!

Guys, its not about coming first or the fastest time. Its about giving 100% all the time, giving your best. Yes undoubedly you need to prepare yourself physically and mentally, but if you have that thing inside your head that says "I DON'T GIVE UP", then you're already half way there.

It's just when you hear of people knocking 3 miles out in 18 odd mins that can dent your confidence. Thanks for your post jacko, I should be ready to go down there soon.

lol you got the scroes and in afew months you would even have the fitness for officer POC, so get that application sorted out!!

Yeh no problem m8 , you'll have no problem with those scores , just whenever your mind says im knackered or want to give up , tell it to fXXX off thats all i did and i kept going . best of luck m8

just remember whats an hour of your life, if that for the oppotunity to train with the Royal Marines Commandos. Thats what i kept thinking. It wont last its got to stop at some point.
