Well after reading yours, all the lectures and interviews are still in the same slots, but the fitness go like this

day 1: 3 miler at like 9 and then gym test 1 at like 2
day 2:commando slide, bottom field, assault course at like 9, and then gym test 2 at around 2.

the 3 miler now is done the whole way as a group, you never break off, and you run in a nicely formed 3 ranks and the corporals are on you're ass to stay in formation

Haha Bottom field that is hell. My scores were
Press ups- 64
Pull ups- 7 (they do stop you)
Bleep test- 13 (It ends there)
Sit ups- 49 ( I kept gettin cramp in my leg witch was affecting my technique so the pti told me to stand up.
Hankins told me that when he was going through the tunnel he felt like having a shit :D
I believe a lot of the horrendous pain you experience is psycological and can be overcome. There was including me, four sixteen year olds who passed. Passing the PRMC gives you an immense sense of achievement but you have to remember that passing the prmc does not make you a marine. My joining date is 31st of july, 15 days a way and I am extremeley lucky to get into that troop because after my first two weeks, I get three weeks leave because of summer leave.

hahaha, You will probably get that date offered aswell. And even better after the first two weeks of foundation everyone gets three weeks off for summer leave. And you get paid!!
Gettin paid to do your dream! what more can you ask for in life?

well jord, looks like you're going to have to put up with me for the next 32 weeks haha, i got a call from the afco today and he told me i star july 31, and that i have to go and see him and finish the last bit of shite. Although, im curious if they'll allow me to go back to canada for that break, i'd just go for like a 2 weeks, but im going to have to ask the afco about that. But i'm totally syked for that paid holiday, but apparently foundatiuon is the biggest sack of crap there!

could one of you guys that have recently completed PRMC go into a bit of detail on what actually happens during bottom field, some people say it wasn't as hard as they thought it would be and others say it was pure hell, i'm going down for mine next week and it would really help.

As soon as you touch the grass, you don't stop double mark time (jogging on the spot), you keep doing this ALL THE TIME and if you don't the session will just keep going longer. You basically just keep sprinting to different parts of the field and back to the PTI who keeps moving when you reach the PTI you keep double mark time until everyone gets back then you have to do some sort of exercise, e.g 10 press-ups, followed by 10 sit-ups followed by 10 uppy downys etc. Then sprint to another obstacle and back again to do more exercises, and this is just repeated over and over again. If people don't put 100% in they will just make it last longer. It's tough and very difficult to prepare for, I think this is just mental and you have to just stay focused mate. Any more questions, fire away.

We were told on Wednesday by the Sgt. Major that the bottom field 'warm up' is now done after the assault course. Crazy but true apparently.

Really?? Makes it a hell of a lot easier to get in under 5 minutes then?

Hi
Grats on passing PRMC.
I know it is best to arrive in Shirt and Tie but is it worth taking a formal Jacket it will it not be required?
How much RM knowledge do you need to know?
THANKS
GIB

Don't bother with a jacket, no one did on mine. And the first thing we were told to do was take off our ties! :D

Just learn everything in the green bible and you can't go wrong.
