For me? 10 months i think. Thats because i had to go through a security check for my irish surname, Heart murmur, and the fact there was a cockup for what job i wanted.

It all depends. I know one guy at RSC who had handed in his application 30 days before and was told if he passed RSC that saturday he would start the following friday.

How long did the process take for filling in application to getting date for basic training?
i first went in to the afco asking about the royal engineers around march and have now bin offered july 11th intake to start basic, so pretty quick for me

look forward to your B3 combat engineer course :D :evil: !!done mine from jan-apr...was nasty!!interesting lessons(look forward to demolitions!),learnt alot,but got beasted for the whole course!!!bad 10 weeks if some of your troop mess up from the start!!!i'm at chatham,kent now.having a great time!!

C'House still is mate, Downstairs is now a Pukka Strip joint 3 nights a week in the summer! Big Sid who runs the shop insists that no customer should leave without seeing pink! £2 a head in and pass the pint pot! and no Albanian refugees all Brit lasses who should be on the Olympic Gymnastics Team!
