Anyone had lasik done?

Are there any other eye exams after the initial medical? Im thinking if I would be able to have lasik done in the time between the test and prmc or between prmc and basic.

Are you free to have it done once your in?

You have to attend a special visual acuity test if you've had surgery (night vision and the like), which there paranoid about. As regards havin surgery between PRMC and Basic, you have to wait 12 months after surgery till you can apply, so that may be a dead-end. Don't consider lying to the AFCO staff, you will get found out and they don't appreciate being lied to.

Yeh Wavefront Lasik/Lesek is the way to go.

For all i know the MOD could be paying for it by next year, fingers crossed but i doubt it.
