......and of course, bullshit baffles brains! Beat em at their own game. 8)

Another San Carlos resident here. Yep, it may be luxury five star accommodation, but this just means we have to keep the place in tip- top condition at all times as its brand spanking new, 'and that's the way its gonna stay', or we can 'stand by, BIG TIME', as our training team like to put it. Another down side is brand new building, therefore no pull-up bars allowed as they lower the tone, apparently.

Week eight privaleges when i get back- can anyone enlighten me as to what these are? I think this means we can use the dhobi machines- now that would be a first  .
Start Basic November 1st -

Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone.

I'm having a hoofin leave catching up with old mates I haven't seen for ages, drinking far too much and trapping rats birds in town :D .

Not looking forward to going back being in Hunter still, but my foot's healed now so I should hopefully make it into 886 Troop in January.

FooBar week 8 privledges means you're allowed out late enough to get turned away from the clubs in Exeter.
I don't know about you boys, but being a nod has made me appreciate everything in life so much more and i mean everything from carpets and central heating to family! Warmth being the biggest one though i think.

Civvi's just don't know how cushy they got it!
Well said that man.
Passed PRMC 17th December 2003

Started Basic 5th July 2004 880 Troop, Jan 2005 886 Troop, June 2005 893 Troop, July 2005 895 Troop

Got MD 3rd November 2005

Jordiman, glad to hear you'll be back in training soon...886 are getting a few of our nobbers who failed Baptist Run, inc Captain Admin - you'll figure out who he is soon enough...in fairness none of them are bad lads, just not particularly good at some bits and pieces.

FooBar, what troop are you? If you're the lads on the second floor, you're accom is immaculate compared to ours...well, I'm guessing so if you compare the colour of the yellow strips on your stairs to those going up to our floor! You're making us look bad! Not that anyone seems to have noticed yet, we're getting chuck ups all over the place at the minute - except Baptist Run night-nav, but we won't go into that.

Week 8 you get your blue leave card so you can stay out all Saturday night...I can't believe you're not allowed to use the dhobi shop yet! Hopefully you'll get that as well, it's a real god-send!

Good to hear the rest of you are going well, especially our resident YO...44 weeks to go still, ouch! Looks like MF are going to have a fair few passing out next Spring/Summer...
