Don't give up, when i went for my medical i passed the test without glasses (unaided) but failed the test with glasses (aided) because my eye sight was no better with them. I was told to re-take the medical so i got a new prescription for my glasses, got to the second medical and failed again!! so they sent me to a specialist, i travelled miles to get there waited months etc and the specialist looked at my prescription, stuck a pair of optician glasses on me ( the inter-changeable type ones ) and i nailed the test, he told me that i had the wrong lenses in my glasses!!! :o

What i'm saying is, like many others, don't give up!! :P :P :P

Go on Google.co.uk and search for laser eye clinics near you (make sure your search within the UK), ring them up and ask about the treatments. I kno for LASIK you have to be around 24yrs old thats when your eyes stop growing. Or you can ring up your AFCO and ask them about it, i had done both but stopped searching when i found out about the age criteria.
