Might be what you want to cut down on, rest, and maybe train once in a while!

Okay folks, I like a good argument, but please don't get personal. I have no wish to start giving out warnings but a couple of you need to calm down just a bit.

I think that thenewshmoo_1 you dont put the effort in training-wise, you wont get to where you want to go i.e. para reg. I agree with W.Mitty and Mysterious Mike, you should go running once in a while like the rest of us, and maybe one day, you might get into training with the Paras, and MAYBE, just maybe, you might get to wear that famous headgear.

There are too many people on here giving their sob stories to us all, and i really cannot be bothered to read your drivvel. Maybe the military isnt for you; not the end of the world.

good answer to a question no one asked you. If you haven`t got anything constructive to say whats the point in droning on about things you haven`t a clue about. Go running?, if you bothered reading my posts you`d know i have been running and got injured.

You sound extemely arrogant and if you ever do make it to the parachute regiment you`ll probably go out as quickly as you went in.

If you manage to stay in then i`m glad i`m not running fast enough because it seems to me everyone with para.wannabe as a username is a bit of a tool and probably struggle to get BARB scores of 50.

OK, this has gone a bit far now.

newshmoo - as I said earlier, you need to take your life into your own hands and stop putting it off. 9 minutes is not that difficult to acheive and shouldn't be beyond the reach of a determined man. It's simple, - train or don't, but just stop banging on about it.

I wish you all the best, and let us know how you get on.

Mike_b

P.S Cool it James; you're not in yet.

LOL

Is that the best you've got? Any more excuses left for yourself?

We all know how it is. You want to be a para, yet you don't have the determination, you don't have the self discipline. With your grammar, I'd hardly go round bragging about intelligence levels. James is going to make it, as am I!

You keep dreaming little lad.

And after all the gobbing off the pair of you do, I'm sure a lot of people will be watching with interest!

Matt, i like a good rant on the odd occasion, but dont say stuff like that. Its really not hard to get where we are now, i.e. to pass RSC and as mike said to get a run below 9:18. But the fact is, we havnt acheived jack yet, and you cant go round saying "i will be a para" when we dont know what we have to go through yet.

You have never met me Matt, and vice versa, so making stupid comments like that annoy me. Dont get me wrong, you can think all that stuff, but when there are serving Paras around like Cheese you are going to get it in the neck im afraid, and im not being brought down with you for saying something stupid.

Wait until January mate, then get psyced up about being a para...it will seperate those who REALLY want it, and those who dont.

lol.

It probably wasn't meant to sound like it came over online. I probably should of expanded. I meant that through determination, and that I won't give up until I do pass. You're right though, I should of only spoke for myself. Sorry mate!

James are you being witty, with your remarks about cracks, and stephen remarks about brown nosing, well they do seem to go together.
