I thoroughly enjoyed PRMC and that was only 3 days...I can't wait till basic (Starting on 18th of Oct as End of Sept is full) me and a few lads are going to meet up before basic and go for a yomp on dartmoor to brake in our boots.

I've heard two different stories about foundation...

1. It's really hard and boring...

2. It's easy and a real laugh????

I suppose it is what you make it. The bloke in Hunter I was chatting to said once you pass out of Foundation you wish you were back there as it's a right laugh.....

I suppose i'm going to just wait and see and find out for myself.

Just got back from ex quick cover (wet and dry). Started learning soldier skills eg fire and menouvre, cam and concealment, range judging etc. Wet and dry routine isn't as bad as it seems although it's the middle of summer  . Got to fire our first blank rounds, about 100 in total (hoofin) 8) . Got flanked both inpections though so got more practice of W&D  . We started with 53 had 2 MD and 1 BT in foundation, but gained 3 more. 3 more have been BT through injury or illness and maybe 1 more. But the good news is no-one has opted out yet. There were 39 :o blokes who passed out on last Kings squad compared to about 12 the troop before them.

1 and 2
Its boring but a real laugh, nothing so far has been very hard but we've got Marshall star and Hunters Moon coming up soon.

It doesn't seem like 5 weeks gone already time flies when you're having fun.

they say you get changed before getting into your pit yep?

well if it was pissing it down wouldnt your dry clothes just get wet whilst getting changed and surley theres no where near enough room under the bivvys to get changed!!!

hmm confusing! any insights!

its a bugger this leave stuff! due to not climbing ropes for two days tendonitus (sp?) has set in a bit! not to worry!

You are supposed to get changed under your bivvy.

I seen your troop donig that camp circuit with the telegraph pole and to be honest the lot of you ywere loafing. I still think the mats are hard as they are more awkward to carry. Fodd is well pussers everyone, but make sure you stow your kit away.
Listen in men give 100% or i will thrash you till your eyes bleed!

God is airborne because he failed his commando course!

PETERS POOL in November! CACKLE! CACKLE!

Enjoy it lads and don't think that once you have cracked the Commando course that that will be the last of it either.

I had to do it all again when on me JCC and then again on me SCC! And I was a damn sight bigger than the 17 years old youth I was in Training.

I once on me JCC managed to get me Knackers caught on the Tarzan Course's Net that you leap into! Training team cheesed down. The Barstewards! :D

Please go away in short, sharp, jerky erotic movements. It bloody hurt! :o

Half an hour later I was on the Drill square doing this marvelous impersonation of Qasimodo after he's been smacked in the Knackers by a stray Cathedral Bells Clapper! :D
